On May the 5th, we ate, drank, laughed, cried and danced. There was sun and there was rain, but at the end of day... two very special people I love dearly got married. When my sweet friends asked me to do their wedding, I was very reluctant. I have been taking pictures for years, but I had never done a wedding before. All of my fears set in, what if...
Much like life, we miss some pretty incredible moments because of the "what if". With all that said...my husband and I agreed to take on this new chapter in our photography journey. And boy, are we glad we did. We both had a blast and came home on cloud nine. In fact, we can't wait till the next wedding. We were able to tell a story from the beginning of the day to the end of the day with moments that we will all cherish for a lifetime.
Weddings are fun, fast and festive. Most often the bride is pulled in a million directions and the day becomes a blur. Still magical...but a blur nonetheless. I remember telling my husband on our wedding day "did we just get married...lol" as we pulled through the Wendy's drive-thru. Being able to relive the moment through pictures was something my husband and I will always cherish.
Savannah and Ethan have been dating ever since I can remember. In fact, I don't think I can remember them not being together....lol! Our families have been friends since birth and to be asked to be part of their special day was a complete honor. I am forever grateful because this opportunity opened up new door that I "thought" I never wanted or desired to go through. Little did I know just how much I would love this new journey.
Savannah and Ethan, I can't wait to see how the Lord uses you together to further His kingdom. The honeymoon may be over, but the rest of your life as Mr. & Mrs. Brown has just begun.
